A welcome video is a great way to introduce yourself to a brand new community. Not only does it breaks down a barrier of entry to residents to attend their first event, it also makes you a more familiar face around the community. Teams upload their custom video to Instagram or Youtube to be shared with new residents.
Let them know you are serious about making their experience living there a better one! Here’s how it works:

SAMPLE OUTLINE
Part One: Introduce Yourself
Give your name (can choose first name only, or first + last name).
Use appropriate title: You’re an Apartment Life Coordinator (if solo) / Apartment Life Team (if a team of 2)
Include your property name (make sure it’s exactly the way your PM wants you to say it)
Example: Hi, I’m Bethe. And I’m Will. We’re your Apartment Life Team at The Catalyst on Main.
Part Two: Tell them what you do
Example: We’re here to help you get to know your neighbors, feel connected inside our community, and to make sure you have fun! We throw lots of cool events, so be sure to follow The Catalyst on Main on social media to get all the details. Provide a personal touch Feel free to include your dog, or child(ren). Remind residents that you CARE about them, and you’re here if they need anything.
Part Three: The End
Sign off with something quick / inviting. Example: We can’t wait to meet you!
2. SEND IN YOUR VIDEO TO COLINMUKRI@APARTMENTLIFE.ORG USING ‘WE TRANSFER’.
Feel free to add in your own videos / photos of your events/property to the video.
3. MAKE YOUR PAYMENT AND UPLOAD A PHOTO IN THE CHECKOUT FORM.
You will receive your video in 3-5 business days with a download link from Vimeo. Orders include editing and minor revisions. Extra charges may apply to major edits, we encourage you to send your best takes and double check your submission.
*Note: These videos are not done “through” Apartment Life rather a partnership with Studio Mukri. The idea is for coordinators to pay these using their EBP cards.
